Although the broader private equity market focuses on businesses that generate at least $4 million of annual cash flow, most private equity investors will consider much smaller acquisitions that compliment their portfolio companies. To accommodate a wide range of investment preferences and the disparity between the criteria for add-on vs. platform acquisitions we have set the following minimum guidelines for Private Equity Investment Listings: three years in operation, $500,000 of annual cash flow, middle management in-place, and a scalable business model.
